Rice Kheer Recipe With Milkmaid. In this video we will see how to make Rice Kheer at home. Rice Kheer / Indian Rice pudding is an easy to make recipe which is often served as dessert in several Indian restaurants. In this recipe we are going to slowly cook the rice in milk. Rice Kheer --You will love this classic Indian dessert even more as our Creations Rice Kheer recipe lets you make a kheer with a rich and creamy texture and lovely caramelized flavor of authentic home kheer in less than half the time that you would normally take! We can presoak the rice for 30 minutes and this will speedup the cooking process. We can use either basmati rice ( long grain) or the regular rice. Do not add too much sugar to the recipe, rice kheer has to have a mild sweetness it should not be over powering. Crushed cardamom is added for flavoring and saffron strands are used for adding color to the recipe. Nuts are used to add some crunchy texture to the recipe.

Instant Rice Payasam | Rice Kheer

Ingredients

Raw Rice - 1/2 Cup ( Soaked For 2 Hours )

Milk - 1 litre 

Cashew Nuts

Sugar Half Cup

Cardamom - 3-4

Method

1. Heat a pan and add the milk to it 

2. Bring it to a boil

3. Add the cooked rice to the milk and let it simmer till the milk is thickened 

4. Add add sugar if you don’t have condensed milk) and mix well 

8. add the nuts and roast them till they are golden in color 

9. Add the roasted nuts, cardamom and mix well 

10. Serve the Instant Rice Kheer warm.
