How To Make Mutton Achari Mutton. Achari Gosht Recipe or Achari Mutton is a wonderful yet rare cuisine of Pakistani which is cooked with mutton bringing out pickled flavors or achari flavors into it. Different versions of Achari Gosht Recipe can be made but the key ingredients into making this dish would be onion seeds, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds as these ingredients give the pickled flavors to the dish. The flavors of the dish are a bit spicy as in any pickle but the taste may vary depending on whether we are adding onions or tomatoes or yogurt. Adding any of these ingredients would give different kind of pickled flavor. It is commonly made during weddings or any occasions. Achari Gosht Recipe is served with rotis or naan mainly. In this post I am going to show one version of making Achari mutton with yogurt and pickled flavors. As I update I shall be posting different versions of it. Achari Gosht Recipe is usually a dish commonly made in North India but gives the flavor of Indian pickles. Let’s look at the detailed instructions into making this Achari Gosht Recipe which is a delicious Cuisine. Mutton Achari Punjabi style is a very unique mutton recipe where in the punjabi pickle masala is used to prepare the gravy which gives a tangy flavour to the dish. Learn how to make mutton achari.

Ingredients for achar gosht masala: 
1 tbsp Coriander seeds (crushed) 
1 tsp Fennel seeds 
1 tsp Cumin powder 
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds 
1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds 
1/2 Nigella seeds

Ingredients for achar gosht: 
1 kg Mutton 
1 cup Onion (chopped) 
1 cup Tomatoes (chopped) 
1 tsp Red chili powder 
1 ½ tsp Red chili flakes 
Salt to taste 
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste 
1 tsp Turmeric 
1 cup Yogurt 
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tsp Achar masala 
1 tsp Garam masala 
2 Cinnamon sticks 
5-6 Cloves 
5-6 Green chilies 

Directions for achar gosht masala: 
In a bowl add coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin powder, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and nigella seeds. 
Mix it well and achar gosht masala is ready to use. 

Directions for achar gosht: 
In a pot boil water, add mutton, cinnamon sticks, cloves and let it cook until meat is tender and little stock left. Separate the stock and mutton in two bowls. 
In a pan heat oil, add onion and cook until translucent. Then add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and cook it a bit. 
Add red chili flakes, chili powder, salt, turmeric, garam masala and cook. 
Then add mutton, stock, leave it for a while then add achar gosht masala and mix it well. 
Add yogurt, cook it on medium low flame until it releases oil. 
Mix lemon in achar gosht masala and stuff it in green chilies. 
Add stuffed green chilies in dish and let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes. 
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. 

Preparation time: 20 minutes 
Cooking time: 60 minutes 
Serving: 3-4
